Assistant Professor Hande Usbaş-Kaya completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Primary Education at Marmara University in 2003. She subsequently earned her master’s degree from the same university in 2010 with a thesis focusing on museum education in early childhood. In 2020, she received her PhD in Early Childhood Education with a dissertation on motor development in early childhood. Between 2003 and 2013, Dr. Usbaş-Kaya worked as a preschool teacher in schools affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of National Education. She joined Istanbul Arel University in 2013 as a research assistant in the Department of Child Development and later served as a lecturer in the same department between 2014 and 2020. Her academic and research interests primarily focus on museum education in early childhood, creativity, and motor development.
