Assistant Professor Deniz Yüceer graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Kocaeli University in 2007 with a thesis titled Equality and Inequality in Rousseau’s Two Discourses and The Social Contract. In 2011, Yüceer received a master’s degree from Sakarya University with a thesis entitled An Analysis and Comparison of Social Studies Curricula Implemented in Denmark and Turkey, and later completed a PhD at the same university with a dissertation titled Thinking and Philosophy Education in Early Childhood: Children Inquire. Between 2009 and 2010, Yüceer participated in the Erasmus Program at University College Lillebaelt. Yüceer has been involved in authoring and translating books in the fields of social studies and early childhood education and completed a trainer education program in Philosophy for Children (P4C) in 2020. Academic studies primarily focus on social studies education, philosophy for children, and early childhood education.
